    Conversation Street Episode 750

    19/09/2026 | 2h 39min
For our latest podcast, we chat about what went on in Weatherfield between the 14th and the 18th September (Episodes #11,942 - #11,945).

It was another Jodie-heavy set of episodes this week (when isn’t it?), as she turns her attention away from the Kit and Bethany bunk-up and back to her attempts to seduce David. After hearing about Gemma’s postpartum depression, Jodie sets about convincing her sister that she too has been psychologically affected by Harper’s birth - but will David and Doug fall for her tricks as well? This week also saw a few new storylines get under way. Ross reveals himself to be a bit of a caveman when it comes to his views on gender roles, Susie proves a hit on the Rovers socials, and Summer’s artistic talents bag her a new man. But with Corrie viewers now seemingly trained to inherently distrust any new character who turns up on the cobbles, we’re all left wondering: what dark secret is Marco hiding?

As always, we finish off the podcast with more of your views on the latest goings on on the cobbles.

    Conversation Street Episode 749

    12/09/2026 | 2h 51min
This week's podcast covers the drama on the cobbles between the 7th and the 11th September (Episodes #11,938 - #11,941).

We trust your awareness was well and truly raised about breast cancer in men on Monday’s Corrie? Because God forbid we should ever just be entertained by a storyline! Yep, Kit becomes the latest character to have dramatic sound effects playing in the background as he’s handed a life-threatening diagnosis this week - although, to be fair to him, at least he doesn’t spend too long wallowing in it. Perhaps that’s because he’s also got a concurrent storyline involving a night between the sheets with a mystery woman, who turns out to be the person pretty much everyone was expecting: Bethany Platt! And speaking of ladies of mystery, Jodie actually won us over this week, camping it up good and proper as she toys with Bethany following a classic soap conveniently-overheard conversation. On top of all that, we’ve got Debbie’s bittersweet birthday party, a fashion course opportunity for Betsy and yet more Metcalfe mayhem - plus the long-awaited return of Shona’s dad!

Up next on the podcast, it's The Kabin, where we reveal how Corrie did at the NTAs (don't get your hopes up!) and cast our eyes over the red carpet fashion amongst the cast. We finish things off with more of your fabulous feedback.

    Conversation Street Episode 748

    05/09/2026 | 3h 1min
On our latest episode of the podcast, we chat about what went on in Corrie between the 30th August and the 4th September 2026 (Episodes #11,932 - #11,937).

This week, Celeste goes the way of her beloved Dolly a little sooner than we’d expected, but when a shocking family secret comes to light, Bernie fears it could spell a death sentence for her nearest and dearest. Is this really the sort of story Corrie needs right now, though? Meanwhile, Debbie’s condition takes a worrying turn as she becomes increasingly confused - is a drama-free birthday party on Monday really too much to ask? Also this week, Kit beds a mystery woman, Betsy takes her first post-stroke steps and Nina bids farewell to Weatherfield for a new life in Whitby.

Up next on the podcast it's the Kabin, where we take a look at some Corrie pictures from the Manchester Pride and share an update on Eileen Derbyshire. We round off the show with more of your Corrie feedback.

    Nina Lucas Character Profile

    02/09/2026 | 1h 56min
In this episode, we delve into the story of Nina Lucas, one of Corrie’s most distinctive characters of recent years, who has now departed the cobbles for pastures new in Whitby. We look back over Nina’s six and a half years in Weatherfield and reflect on her biggest storylines, most notably the powerful 2021 hate crime story, which for a time saw her firmly established as one of the show’s leading ladies. From her wonderful bond with Uncle Roy (or should that be Roymond?) to her on-off relationship with Asha, her romance with Seb, her brief foray into fashion design and everything in between, this deep dive covers the lot. So if you’re as much of a Nina fan as we are, hopefully this episode will bring back plenty of great memories from her time on the Street!

    Conversation Street Episode 747

    29/08/2026 | 2h 33min
On our latest episode of the podcast, we chat about the happenings on the Street between the 24th and the 28th August (Episodes #11,928 - #11,931).

There’s a bit more comedy on the cobbles this week, which is always appreciated - and the unexpected dalliance between Brian and Maggie is certainly the most intriguing storyline of the lot! She doesn’t seem too keen to go back for round two just yet, but we’ll be keeping everything crossed... Meanwhile, Sarah finally stands up for herself in prison after becoming sick to the back teeth of Kacey’s threats - but has she really seen the last of her tormentor? Also this week, George reunites with Christina after his trip away, Ollie manages to get himself arrested after a spot of vigilantism goes pear-shaped and Lucy and Richie share a secret phone call about “sticking to the story” over Rachel’s death. Now what exactly could they be hiding...?

We finish off the podcast with more of your fabulous feedback, including another review of the Studio 1 tour and some thoughts about differences between UK and US soaps.
