Sally Appleton is the mother of Emily Appleton who plays on both the WTA and ITF circuit. Emily has career-high ranking of world No. 348 in singles and No. 78 in doubles and reached the second round in the doubles at Wimbledon n 2024 - one of the highlights. There are plenty of lowlights too and a whole lot of difficult moments in a varied life which is the world of professional tennis.
