He soon bonds with the kid, and finds his inner dad while giving up his hard-partying ways and fighting to become the boy's guardian. "It's like Kramer vs. Ketamine," Firstman says.The triple threat also talks LGBTQ+ club lingo, his role on I Love LA, what actor besides Laura Dern he wants to write a song for, and a lot more.

Since moving from their native Michigan to Nashville in 2020, Greta Van Fleet have become a vital part of an exciting new Nashville rock scene. When you’re a legend like Jessica Lange, there’s never enough time to walk through the major memories and moments of a lifetime of work. But the two-time Oscar winner did her best on a visit to the Rolling Stone Studio, where she talked to culture writer CT Jones about returning to American Horror Story for a bravura performance in Season 13, her long relationship with Ryan Murphy, and the early days of her career — from miming in Paris (!) to her breakout role in King Kong (including the subsequent flood of publicity that made her cry) and her career-cap performance in a recent production of Long Day’s Journey Into Night. “I've been incredibly lucky,” Lange told us. “I love acting, and I've had decades of being able to do it, which has been a joy for me. … It all was a great adventure. I'm so grateful that [it] came my way.”

Earlier this month, Vince Staples‬ joined Rolling Stone’s residency at New York’s historic Cherry Lane Theater for an onstage edition of our classic conversation series, The Rolling Stone Interview. Speaking with Rolling Stone’s Jeff Ihaza, he brought his subdued and pointed wit to the music business, life on the road, and the expectations placed on Black artists.

His latest album, ‘Crybaby,’ is adventurously genre-agnostic, carrying the frenetic energy of punk, funk, and jazz. Staples discussed the making of the record, touring with a live band, and how working on his Netflix series, The Vince Staples Show, changed his approach to music.

Vince Staples on the boundaries of hip hop: “If you say that utilizing certain sounds is abandoning hip-hop, then you don’t know enough about hip-hop to have a conversation about it. Because it doesn’t make any sense, literally.”
