- On today's episode, we hear from New York Times bestselling author Rob Bell on the wounds and wisdom of being an Enneagram Type Seven. But first, Richard illuminates the need for Sevens, and all of us, to face our pain in order to discover a more nuanced kind of positivity. Rob then shares how he first found Fr. Richard Rohr’s teaching, and what it was like to grow up in a home where everything had to be fine. He describes how denial, the Seven’s drug of choice, gave way to burnout and grief.
What happens when we stop outrunning the pain and let it spit us out the other side? Tune in to hear Rob on the “death of fantasy,” finding the top of the mountain in the valley, and how Type 7 can learn to embrace that "everything belongs".
