    Nature vs. Nurture

    26/1/2026 | 54min
Just after midnight on June 22nd, 2019, a disturbing 911 call was made by two children, who reported that they had just been stabbed in their home.  As police arrived on scene, they made two horrific discoveries.  One was the dead body of 62-year-old Diane Madison, grandmother of the attacked children.  The other was the fact that just six years earlier, police had been called to this same home for a completely different case…

    The Treehouse

    11/1/2026 | 1h 2min
On a November night in Key West, FL in 2017, friends Paula and Roger were hanging out and partying in Paula’s makeshift home nicknamed “The Treehouse.” Without warning, they were suddenly accosted by two masked men, leading to a tragic killing. The subsequent police investigation quickly mutated into a convoluted conspiracy involving drugs, coercion, and corruption. The result: a lone defendant representing himself in court swearing that he had been falsely accused - a man Paula swore was not one of her attackers…

    Blood in the Snow

    23/11/2025 | 1h 3min
When the newly married Mark and Lori Phillips went out to celebrate their upcoming move to Bismarck in February of 2019, the night did not go according to plan. As they were out at a Wisconsin bar with some friends, Mark became angry at Lori and began shouting at her. The two left the bar and returned home. There the fight continued, prompting Lori to speed away in the couple’s new truck for fear that Mark might hurt her. She slept in an empty parking lot for the night, but when she returned expecting an apology from her husband, she found something far more grim…

Special thanks to Lori Gamoke for her bravery, transparency and willingness to speak with us for this episode, as well as Leslie Morgan Steiner for her insights about domestic violence.
