Miss Me?

Miquita and Jordan gleefully chat about their favourite TV series moments whilst answering your questions.
They discuss the shows that raised us, the ones that aged like milk, and why our perspectives completely shift when we watch them through adult eyes.
They get brutally honest about Sex and the City and why Carrie Bradshaw is actually entitled… maybe we should be more like Samantha?
Plus, they break down the phenomenon of rewatching childhood favourites, and reveal which iconic TV character they would each want to embody in real life.

Miquita and Jordan do not hold back on how the press vultures came at Amy, more so because she happened to be a female pop star. Oasis did not suffer the same scrutiny. Yet the raw genius of Amy Winehouse's Back to Black still stands, 20 years on. She deserved better.
Jordan gets Ally of the Year at the Attitude Awards and reveals the thought process behind his speech, and Miquita explains why artist and stage designer Es Devlin’s work means so much to her. Oh, and Jordan’s in Bali, mainly for work but if you’re watching this then you’re welcome for the view of palm trees.

Is lying ever kind in relationships? If you were being cheated on, would you want to hear the truth? Miquita and Jordan assess how that’s played out in their past relationships. And - be honest now - did you just make up an excuse not to go out? Does that even count as a lie? Miquita Oliver and Jordan Stephens tackle your questions on the complexities of wrapping yourself up in lies and the consequences they can bring.

Next week, we’re with you on the sofa, after your voice note questions on TV SERIES. The bingeable, the life-altering, the trashy. We want to hear your stories. WhatsApp Miss Me? on https://wa.me/447849030711

Celebrity Traitors, thank you. Oh, the unbridled joy of watching people actively deceive each other for entertainment in a Scottish castle, even if one of those celebs (Amol) blatantly disregarded the advice that Jordan texted him. Needed that lightness though to counteract the heaviness of the news, because we couldn’t ignore the Cornell 7 story. Both Miquita and Jordan had a lot to say about how triggering that unfolding story has been, and why it horrifyingly speaks so much to the female experience.

In this Listen Bitch! Q&A episode, Miquita and Jordan answer your questions about death. Sounds heavy we know, and it does get emotional, but as we all face the inevitable together there’s so much joy and wisdom to be felt too.
