The Divine Feminine Deception: The Return of the Queen of Heaven - Episode 295

    17/08/2026 | 1h
The “divine feminine” is gaining attention across social media, spirituality, New Age teaching, and even discussions surrounding UFO phenomena. Presented as a nurturing, intuitive, life-giving spiritual energy, it sounds harmless—even benevolent. But is this really something new?

Scripture reveals an ancient pattern that bears striking similarities.

In this episode, Scott and John examine the biblical history of the Queen of Heaven, Ashtoreth, goddess worship, and Israel’s repeated descent into idolatry. From Jeremiah’s warnings to Solomon’s worship of strange gods, the Bible shows how these spiritual influences turned hearts away from the Lord.

Scott also considers a provocative prophetic connection in Zechariah 5, where a woman identified as “wickedness” is carried to the land of Shinar—ancient Babylon. Could the modern divine feminine movement be another manifestation of an ancient spiritual deception preparing the way for Mystery Babylon?

    In this episode:

The modern meaning and ancient roots of the “divine feminine”

The Queen of Heaven worship condemned in Jeremiah

Ashtoreth, Ishtar, Hathor, Isis, Aphrodite, and other ancient goddess traditions

Solomon’s fall into idolatry and the worship of Ashtoreth

The connection between Ashtoreth, Baal, and Molech

Why spiritual deception often presents itself as loving and benevolent

God’s created order for men, women, and marriage

The mysterious phrase “because of the angels” in 1 Corinthians 11:10

Marriage as a prophetic picture of Christ and the Church

The woman called “wickedness” in Zechariah 5

Shinar, Mystery Babylon, and a possible last-days connection

The terminology may be modern, but the spiritual pattern is ancient. As old forms of goddess spirituality return under new names, believers must test every spiritual claim against the Word of God.

Understanding James Part 3: Enduring Faith in the Time of Jacob’s Trouble

    16/08/2026 | 30min
In the final part of Understanding James, we examine the prophetic setting that brings the epistle into clearer focus: the time of Jacob’s trouble. James writes to the twelve tribes whose faith will be tried, calling them to patience and endurance as they await the coming of the Lord.

By comparing James with Jeremiah, the words of Jesus, and the Hebrew epistles, we see a consistent picture of believing Israel facing persecution and deception during the last days. Hebrews, Peter, John, Jude, and Revelation contain similar warnings concerning endurance, falling away, the Antichrist, and the coming of Christ.

We also consider James’s reference to Elijah and his three-and-a-half-year prayer for drought alongside the two witnesses of Revelation 11, revealing another connection between James and the prophetic events surrounding Israel.

Finally, we contrast these instructions with Paul’s assurance that the Body of Christ is not appointed to wrath. All Scripture is profitable for us, but understanding who is being addressed—and under what circumstances—is essential to rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

    In this lesson:

Why the trial of faith in James points toward the time of Jacob’s trouble

How Jeremiah describes Israel’s future tribulation

Why Jesus said those who endure to the end will be saved

The prophetic significance of the gospel of the kingdom

Why James calls his readers to patience until the coming of the Lord

How Hebrews, Peter, John, and Jude reinforce the last-days context

What Scripture says about those who fall away during tribulation

The connection between Elijah, James 5, and the two witnesses of Revelation 11

Why Paul says the Body of Christ is not appointed to wrath

How rightly dividing Scripture distinguishes Israel’s prophetic program from the doctrine given to the Body of Christ

    Key Scriptures

    James 1 and 5

    Jeremiah 30

    Matthew 10 and 24

    Hebrews 4 and 6

    1 Peter 1–2

    2 Peter 2

    1 John 2

    Jude 17–21

    Revelation 11–12

    1 Thessalonians 5

James contains valuable instruction for every student of Scripture, but its doctrinal and prophetic context must not be overlooked. God wrote all Scripture for our learning, yet His specific instructions to Israel and His revelation concerning the Body of Christ are not the same.
Join us for the conclusion of Understanding James Part 3: Enduring Faith in the Time of Jacob’s Trouble as we compare Scripture with Scripture and see how rightly dividing the Word of Truth brings clarity to this often-misunderstood epistle.

Jeshua and Zerubbabel: Who Will Build the Final Temple? - Episode 294

    10/08/2026 | 45min
Jeshua and Zerubbabel were central figures in the rebuilding of the Second Temple after Israel returned from Babylonian captivity. But the prophecies connected to them appear to reach far beyond that historical moment.

In Haggai and Zechariah, both men are tied to passages involving the shaking of nations, the coming of the BRANCH, the removal of Israel’s iniquity, and the glory of a latter house that exceeds the former. These details raise an important question: were Jeshua and Zerubbabel only builders of the Second Temple, or are they also types pointing toward a future fulfillment?

Scott examines the meaning of their names, their roles as high priest and governor, and their connection to the temple God commanded them to rebuild. He also considers the distinction between the temple that will be desecrated by the Antichrist and the final temple described in Ezekiel—the house where the glory of the Lord returns and living waters flow from the sanctuary.

Could Jeshua and Zerubbabel have a future role in restored Zion? And does Scripture reveal that the true final temple will not be the work of man, but the house God establishes when Jesus Christ returns?

    Scripture References:

    Ezra 2:1–2

    Haggai 1:1–14

    Haggai 2:1–23

    Zechariah 3:1–9

    Zechariah 4:1–10

    Daniel 9:26–27

    Matthew 24:15

    2 Thessalonians 2:3–8

    Isaiah 66:7–9

    Ezekiel 40:1–4

    Ezekiel 43:1–9

    Ezekiel 47:1–12

    Revelation 11

    Revelation 13

Jeshua means “Jehovah saves,” while Zerubbabel carries the idea of coming from Babylon. Together, they form a striking prophetic picture of salvation, deliverance, restoration, and the future house of God in Zion.

The temple desecrated by the Antichrist is not the final glory of Jerusalem. Scripture points instead to a temple filled with the presence of God, where He will dwell with restored Israel and from which living water will flow.

Understanding James: Faith, Works, and the Law of Liberty - Part 2

    09/08/2026 | 35min
In Part 2 of Understanding James, we examine one of the most misunderstood issues in the epistle: the relationship between faith, works, and the law of liberty.

James speaks of the “perfect law of liberty,” while Paul describes the Law of Moses as a “yoke of bondage.” Are they referring to the same law? By comparing James, Galatians, Acts, Hebrews, Romans, and 2 Corinthians, we see why the law of liberty cannot be the Law of Moses and why Christ’s fulfillment of the law is essential to understanding James correctly.

The study then turns to James 2 and the statement that “faith without works is dead.” James uses Abraham as an example of justification by works, while Paul uses Abraham as an example of justification by faith apart from works. These passages are often treated as contradictory, but the distinction becomes clearer when each apostle’s audience and doctrine are kept in context.

    In this lesson:

What James means by the “law of liberty”

Why the Law of Moses is described as bondage

    How Christ fulfilled the law

Why the priesthood and the law had to change

The difference between the Law of Moses and the New Testament law

Why James calls faith without works dead

How James and Paul each use Abraham as an example

Why works are judged differently from salvation

How rightly dividing Scripture resolves apparent contradictions

    Key Scriptures

    James 1–2

    Galatians 2 and 5

    Acts 15

    Matthew 5 and 11

    Hebrews 7

    Romans 4, 8, and 10

    2 Corinthians 3 and 5

James and Paul do not need to be forced into the same doctrinal framework in order for Scripture to remain consistent. When we recognize the different audiences, ministries, and contexts involved, the apparent contradictions begin to disappear.
Join us for Part 2 of Understanding James: Faith, Works, and the Law of Liberty as we continue comparing Scripture with Scripture and rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

Part 1: Understanding James: Rightly Dividing Truth

    02/08/2026 | 30min
The Epistle of James has puzzled Christians for centuries. Does James teach salvation by works? Why do his words seem so different from Paul's? Can both be true?

In this first lesson of our new series, we begin by examining the historical setting, audience, and purpose of the Book of James. By comparing Scripture with Scripture, we discover that James wrote to the twelve tribes of Israel and that understanding his audience is essential to correctly interpreting his message.

This study also examines the relationship between James, Peter, and Paul, highlighting the importance of rightly dividing the Word of Truth so that apparent contradictions disappear and the harmony of God's Word becomes clear.

    In this lesson:

Why James addresses "the twelve tribes scattered abroad"

The historical setting of the Epistle of James

How James and Peter ministered to the same audience

Why Paul's ministry to the Gentiles was distinct

The difference between Israel's prophetic program and the mystery revealed to Paul

Why James warns the rich while Paul gives different instructions

How context resolves apparent contradictions in Scripture

Why rightly dividing the Word of Truth is essential for sound doctrine

    Key Scriptures

    James 1

    1 Peter 1–2

    Matthew 10

    Acts 2

    Galatians 2

    Luke 12

    1 Timothy 6

    Revelation 13

When we allow each passage to speak within its intended context, Scripture does not contradict itself. Instead, we see God's perfect plan unfolding exactly as He revealed it through His chosen apostles.

    AI Overview:

The chronological order of the New Testament books—based on estimated dates of when they were written rather than their traditional arrangement—begins with James and 1 Thessalonians, and concludes with the writings of John. Because exact historical dates are debated by scholars, the timeline below reflects a widely accepted scholarly consensus.
    Early Writings (c. AD 48–57)

    James: c. AD 48–50

    1 Thessalonians: c. AD 50–51

    2 Thessalonians: c. AD 51–52

    Galatians: c. AD 53–55

    1 Corinthians: c. AD 55–57

    2 Corinthians: c. AD 57

    Romans: c. AD 57–58

Imprisonment and Acts Period (c. AD 60–64)

    Philippians: c. AD 60–62

    Philemon: c. AD 60–62

    Colossians: c. AD 60–62

    Ephesians: c. AD 60–62

    Luke: c. AD 60–63

    Acts: c. AD 62–64

    Mark: c. AD 65–66

    Late First-Century Writings (c. AD 65–95)

    1 Timothy: c. AD 63–65

    Titus: c. AD 63–65

    1 Peter: c. AD 64–67

    2 Timothy: c. AD 66–67

    2 Peter: c. AD 67–68

    Hebrews: c. AD 67–69

    Jude: c. AD 67–69

    Matthew: c. AD 70–80

    John (Gospel): c. AD 80–90

    1, 2, and 3 John: c. AD 90–95

    Revelation: c. AD 95

If we compare the order in which the books are placed in the Bible rather than when they are written, we see a distinct pattern:

    The Four Gospels:

    Matthew

    Mark

    Luke

    John

    Transition:

    The Acts

    The Pauline Epistles:

    Romans

    1 & 2 Corinthians

    Galatians

    Ephesians

    Philippians

    Colossians

    1 & 2 Thessalonians

    1 & 2 Timothy

    Titus

    Philemon

    The Hebrew Epistles:

    Hebrews

    James

    1 & 2nd Peter

    1, 2 & 3 John

    Jude

    The Revelation

These books are placed in prophetic order, and they lay out a timeline from Christ’s birth to His 2nd coming. James is among the Hebrew epistles directed at Israel that will form during the latter days.
