The common thread: creating output faster doesn't automatically create value. Someone on the other end of the pipeline still has to be ready to receive it.
The back half of the conversation turns to leadership as the real differentiator. Bob shares a sharp firsthand story of using Claude for Agile coaching competency research and discovering it was silently defaulting to an older framework, omitting what he considers the two most important competencies entirely. It's a perfect illustration of the episode's thesis: AI raises your floor, but without a human who knows enough to catch the gaps, it also masks your ceiling.
