German New Medicine Stories

This weeks episode is a MUST watch for parents, or anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of and relationship with others (in this case their children)! Emma, mother of five children under the age of eight, takes her understanding of GNM and applies it in her parenting in such a powerful way.

First with a story of her eldests daughter's minor constipation and understanding it as a morsel conflict and desire (most often) for time with Emma. She then takes us on a funny self reflective story about her panicked reaction to a situation between her two sons.

She then descibes a resistance conflict and how she observed a pattern of high blood sugar levels throughout a distressing discourse with her property management company about increases in rent.

Emma also gives us such a tangible insight into the aggressive constellation, both in how she witnessed it in herself and her daughter. She was signposted towards addressing her own aggressive constellation due to expereincing increasing pubic symphysis pain as a result of a self-devaluation conflict about these aggressive outbursts. Finally, her understanding of her daughters aggressive constellation helped her discern her needs and how to drastically reduce the conflict load.

This week I’m joined by Audrey, a mother, who shares with us both her personal stories as well as conflicts she’s observed in her children. Firstly, she shares a story of observing and understanding her daughter’s eczema. She then talks about an experience of a near car accident with her children in the car and the flu symptoms which came in resolutions - noting the differences in symptoms between herself and her son. She then unravels her history of what she believed was hormonal acne, and how German New Medicine has helped her understand pattern of her flare ups. Finally she tells of her experience with vomiting during pregnancy in relation to a territorial conflict about sharing the news of her pregnancy with her family.

This week I’m joined by fellow German New Medicine Educator, Abigail! She shares some great stories about hairloss, a conflict active symptom of a separation conflict; her resolution of a chronic stuffed nose; the discovery and resolution of eczema, a healing phase symptom of a separation conflict on her mother-child side; and finally a UTI story of a territorial marking conflict resolution. Abigail shares some great alternative strategies of resolution or downgrading symptoms!

In this episode, we get to hear some very relatable stories of motherhood. Starting with a heartburn, a conflict active symptom of a territorial conflict, which she experienced during pregnancy when she had people (with generous and kind intentions) encroaching on her space. She also tells us about her experience with neck pain after struggling to find homeschooling material that she felt aligned with her values. She then explains an earache she had after being made to listen to a political rant by her osteopath. Finally she speaks about her experiences with tailbone pain and foot pain after birth and how she solved them through connecting them to a self-devaluation conflict surrounding her struggles with cosleeping, breastfeeding, and sleep.

This weeks episode, I'm joined by Savannah (@winddancerhealingarts) who shares her amazing story about solving her life long constipation by bringing awareness to her relationship with dissapointment. She also manages to separate where an adrenal conflict added onto this load. Finally she summarizes her experince with a more recent and short term symptom of warts and how she solved it. Overall, some really great pieces of knowledge to be gained from her story!
